Director of Operations
Eva went into kayaking through starting to play kayak polo in 2004. From there, she was hooked on kayaking and did her first big kayaking trip in the summer of 2005 where she spent 3 weeks kayaking the Danube and the Danube Delta in Romania. Since then she has never stopped going on small or large trips, whether it’s different rivers in Europe, kayaking in Baja California in Mexico, or the Gulf Islands, the Broken Group of the Broughtons in BC.
Eva loves to share her kayaking passion with others and help enable them to discover the world of kayaking. She became a part time instructor with Ecomarine in 2012, and in 2018 decided to switch careers to fully dedicate her time to kayaking and to Ecomarine.
Being able to discover beautiful places in the wilderness that are only accessible by boat, camp on serene beaches and listening to the ocean while falling asleep, watch and enjoy the wildlife, as well as experiencing the beautiful calmness or the crazy force of the ocean is what continues to draw her onto the water over and over again.
