Area Description:

Join us we explore Nuchatlitz and Esperanza Inlets on Canada's west coast. Here is an opportunity to view west coast inlets and beaches as they were before development and logging. Dramatic coastlines, small islets, punctuated with sea caves, arches, bluffs, and sandy beaches will highlight our paddle. Rich inter-tidal life with its myriad of colours, marine mammals such as sealions, seals, and whales, along with a varied marine bird presence lend to the specialness of this area. And if this is not enough, Nuchatlitz is home to the greatest concentration of sea otters on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
