Course Description:
We venture for the day to visit some of Vancouver's most scenic paddling highlights, meeting at the launch point at 9:30am and returning by 4:00pm. All daytrip locations are subject to change. Trips are weather dependent.

Pitt Lake/Widgeon Creek
We depart on a scenic paddle along the shorelines of either Pitt Lake or Widgeon Creek, weather and tide depending.With Golden Ears Provincial Park to the east and the Southern tip of Garibaldi Provincial park at the far northern end of the lake, Pitt Lake is the largest tidal lake in North America.

Indian Arm
Leaving from Barnett Marine Park, at the southern end of Indian Arm, we explore sections of this 20 km long fjord that is just minutes from Vancouver. Mountains rise steeply on both sides of this beautiful inlet, and the area has an abundance of wildlife to be seen including seals, bald eagles, and herons.

Ladner Marsh
This calm waterway is full of floating homes, marinas, birds and unique scenery. The Fraser River Delta is home to roughly 230 species of migratory birds including thousands of snow geese that migrate to BC every year from Siberia. Come explore the marshes of the lower mainland!

Howe Sound
Howe Sound is located between the Lower Mainland and the Sunshine Coast, and is home to many islands, the largest of which are Bowen Island and Gambier Island. Smaller islands are Keats Island, opposite Gibsons on the Sechelt Peninsula, and Anvil Island located directly opposite Porteau Cove Provincial Park. Come join us as we explore this spectacular region!
