Level One Skills Weekend Paddle Canada Level One Kayaking Level One allows a novice kayaker to build on the skills gained in the Recreational programs. Level one is about discovering your edge and developing your grace while handling an ocean kayak. Safety considerations include; towing, communication and rescues. We will also explore further into the images of navigation, route finding and seamanship. Flatwater certification or equivalent skills is a pre-requisite for this course.
