Ecomarine offers numerous ocean kayaking programs that are a safe and fun learning experience for youth. Ocean kayaking should be a part of every school’s curriculum.
For over 30 years Ecomarine’s Coastal Kayaking School has specialized in individual and group kayaking instruction. Over 10,000 youth have been introduced to the excitement and passion of ocean kayaking. All of our Paddle Canada Certified Instructors are experienced paddlers and outdoor educators. Our Jericho Beach location is fully equipped and ideally situated for youth programs.
Today, more and more schools are looking to ocean kayaking as a means of giving youth something new, fun and exciting to do while providing them with exercise and challenge. We can specifically design our programs to meet your needs. From a simple two hour program to a full Paddle Canada Certification Program, we offer it all. Students can expect to learn safety fundamentals, basic kayaking strokes, kayak control, and how to have fun and be safe on the water.
Group Size: The programs are run with one Certified Instructor leading up to 6 students. Group size ranges from 6 to 36 students. For larger groups, contact our office.
