Course Description:
This course is designed for motivated individuals seeking to become certified Assistant Guides/Level 2 Guides with the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC (SKGABC) and recreational paddlers seeking to improve their intermediate paddling skills.
This 9-day Assistant Overnight Guide course is accredited by the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC (SKGABC) and includes the Assistant Overnight Guide exam. Successful candidates will be awarded Assistant Overnight Guide certification, Paddle Canada Level 2 Skills and recommended to the SKGABC to challenge the Level 2 Guide exam which is scheduled separately by the SKGABC.
For those who have successfully completed the Level 1 (Day) Guide program, the 5-day Assistant Overnight Guide Upgrade is accredited by the Sea Kayak Guides Alliance of BC (SKGABC) and includes an Assistant Overnight Guide exam. It is specifically designed for individuals who have completed the SKGABC Level 1 Guide Course. Successful candidates will be awarded Assistant Overnight Guide and Paddle Canada Level 2 certification, and will be recommended to the SKGABC to challenge the Level 2 Guide exam.

- AOG Training: 9 full days without boat rental - $1299
- AOG Upgrade: 5 full days without boat rental - $750

- AOG Training: previous paddling and camping experience
- AOG Upgrade: SKGABC Level 1 (Day) Guide, previous paddling and camping experience
