Course Description:
Our Complete Series allows you to start from square one and cover all the content from both our Beginner and Daytripper weekend programs. We spend six evenings at Jericho Beach introducing you to the fundamentals of gear, strokes and rescues, and wrap the program up enjoying a daytrip to one of our fantastic local paddling destinations. We introduce capsizing and re-entries, both assisted and solo, to deepen your understanding of rescue techniques. Strokes development is focused on creating better paddling efficiency on the move. We will also delve into navigation for day-tripping including chart reading, route finding, tides, and weather.
