In order to safely travel to remote areas by kayak you will need to hone your touring skills. These courses offer an opportunity to learn in a wilderness setting. You will have a chance to learn and practice your navigation skills, practice rescues in more challenging conditions and be introduced to paddling in tidal rapids and surf zones. You are required to have the appropriate Paddle Canada prerequisites to participate in these programs.
Level Three Skills - Paddle Canada LV Three Skills - Multi day trips and moving water.
Level Four Skills - Paddle Canada LV Four Skills - Multi day trips, moving water and exposed coast.
Kayaking in Surf - Learning how to surf during touring expeditions with surf landings.
Advanced Kayaking in Currents - Advance your skill in playing and surfing in tidal currents.
